Barack Obama
Obama and abortion.
Obama supports live birth abortion.
I Know Jesus... and Hillary, You're No Jesus!
The New York Times reported on the new rift between Clinton and long-time Clinton ally, and fomer Presidential candidate, Bill Richardson because of Richardson's public endorsement of Barack Obama. In the article, the Times quotes another Clinton ally, James Carville, as saying:
An act of betrayal.
Mr. Richardson's endorsement came right around the anniversary of the day when Judas sold out for 30 pieces of silver, so I think the timing is appropriate, if ironic.
Fox News -- [cough], [cough], [choke] -- later did an interview with Bill Richardson when they asked him to respond to that statement by James Carville...
Richardson rightly opined that Carville's statement was reflective of a sense of entitlement to the White House on the part of those who make up the Clinton camp.
If Richardson is Judas, who does that make Hillary? To paraphrase a 1988 Vice-Presidential debate, I know Jesus... And, Hillary, you're no Jesus!
Slander From the Right on Barack Obama
Recall the video clip I just posted of Barack Obama's speech regarding race and politics. Then... look at this clip that took pieces of that speech out of context, mixed it with snippets of other people's speeches and made Barack Obama's speech sound ugly. Shame on them for using cheap video editing equipment so egregiously.
John Stewart Puts Things in Perspective, Again. I Think.
For those paying attention, this is not supposed to be a clip of John Stewart ranting about Eliot Spitzer. It's supposed to be about Geraldine Ferraro, Hillary Clinton, Brack Obama and Dwight Hopkins. I'm sure the Daily Show will fix this in short time.
Race, Religion and the Presidency
Okay. This video of Barack Obama's pastor, Dwight Hopkins, ranting about race and presidential politics has been circulating the internet and mainstream media for a short while now...
Obama has since distanced himself from Hopkins, but has had to defend his own position on race and where it fits into his political process. He seems to be doing a fairly effective job. But let's be honest here. Obama would not have to be taking time away from discussing his policies and his vision for America to discuss his race if he were... not black; i.e. if he were white. That, in itself, tends to lend truth to some what Wright was said in this video clip.
Is Barack Obama the Anti-Christ?
John Hagee doesn't think so. Whew! And I was worried there for a minute!
The Neverending Story
So. Hillary Clinton took Ohio, Rhode Island and Texas. The campaign drags on. Now Hillary and Obama will continue to tear each other down and chip away at the morale of the Democratic party, while John McCain builds on his image as the savior of the Republican party.
A few months ago, I was certain we would have a landslide Democratic victory in the Presidential race this year. Of course, I was also as certain we would know, by now, who the Democratic candidate would be as I was hopeful it was going to be John Edwards. Now I'm not much sure of anything.
Bitch Is the New Black!
Ok. I originally embedded a YouTube clip in here. But apparently, the clip on YouTube wasn't kosher. So I had to turn to a source I cannot embed.
Catholic Vote Key in Ohio Primary
According to NPR, the Catholic vote will be key in the Ohio primary. In every state except Missouri and Georgia, so far, Hillary Clinton has racked up the Catholic Democratic vote overwhelmingly over Obama, in many states by a 2-to-1 margin.
There are indications the Catholic vote is much tighter in Ohio and both the Clinton and the Obama campaigns are courting Catholics heavily.
How the Democrats Can Sabotage the Presidential Race
For all intents and purposes, the Democrats are, by far, more popular in the 2008 Presidential race; and there is no reason to believe a Democratic candidate can not be sitting in the White House next January. The Presidential election, this year, is the Democrats' to give away.
But the Democratic Party is well on its way to doing just that. Given the state of internal political squabling in the Democratic Party, they are setting themselves up as an undemocratic, power-hungry Party that will sacrifice the will of its grassroots members to sustain party power. That is setting the Democratic Party up for a grassroots revolt, even among Democrats, in the Presidential race; whether the nominee is Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama.
Who Gets the Fat People's Vote?
As we eagerly anticipate the outcome of today's Primary battles, let's see where these candidates stand with fat people...

Anne Rice Endorses Hillary Clinton
Sorry. I couldn't not post this. Anne Rice is by far one of my favorite authors.
