Michael Bloomberg Opts Out

Well... there's one more sigh of relief. Michael Bloomberg made it official in the New York Times that he will not be running for President. In the process, though, he did share some good insights worth reading. And he's definitely pushing an independent, non-partisan approach to governing.

Though he is bowing out of the notion of running, there's indication that he's not bowing out of influencing the race.

"If a candidate takes an independent, nonpartisan approach -- and embraces practical solutions that challenge party orthodoxy -- I'll join others in helping that candidate win the White House."

Michael Bloomberg is still a firm believer that money can buy policy. Isn't that what this year's race is supposed to be challenging?

Thanks for the props. I try to keep my sanity here, more so than I do in fb. I don't know if I pull the sanity thing off very well, though. You're welcome here, too. Contrary to what it seems, right now, CfD is not a solo act.
